Students Startup and Innovation CELL(SSIC)

THE STUDENT STARTUP AND INNOVATION CELL (SSIC)

Ideas. Innovation. Impact.

The Student Startup & Innovation Cell (SSIC), Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), is a dynamic platform dedicated to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and student-led startups.

We believe that transformative ideas emerge when students, academia, industry, government, and society come together. SSIC provides an enabling ecosystem where students can move from ideation to innovation, innovation to intellectual property, and prototypes to startups.

Our Vision

Building a Student-Centric Innovation & Pre-Incubation Ecosystem

To promote and support an ecosystem where students are encouraged to think differently, innovate fearlessly, and transform ideas into impactful solutions.

Our Mission

Fostering a Culture of Innovation

To create an innovation-driven culture at SCET that encourages the creation, development, protection, and application of intellectual property, while nurturing entrepreneurial thinking among students and researchers.

From Ideas to Impact

SSIC supports students throughout their innovation journey:

IDEATE → VALIDATE → PROTOTYPE → PROTECT → MENTOR → STARTUP → SCALE

From the first spark of an idea to developing a proof of concept, prototype, patent, or startup, students receive opportunities for guidance, mentorship, innovation support, IPR awareness, and entrepreneurial development.
